Ëyê-dêfè Bî (/ˈëjɘ/ /ˈdɘfè/ [soft; quiet; gentle] [mine (location)]) is a subtropical Town located in the Nëpimtrêsë Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Ëyê-dêfè Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Ëyê-dêfè Bî was founded by Kthîbê Gadsh, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Ëyê-dêfè Bî was founded durring the early 10th century, by Kthîbê Gadsh. The establishment of Ëyê-dêfè Bî suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Ëyê-dêfè Bî which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Ëyê-dêfè Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ëyê-dêfè Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brick construction taking the shape of large simple gemometric shapes which ate then embelished with decorative features, but retain their simple shapes in spite of the added features such as pillars, faccaddes, and covered walkways. The blocky nature gives a general impression of extreem age, as if each structure has existed since time immemorial.

Ëyê-dêfè Bî is buildings are arranged arround a single crampt worn bedrock mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The somewhat suffishent have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Even the most brief look arround Ëyê-dêfè Bî has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The town is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in Ëyê-dêfè Bî, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Ëyê-dêfè Bî's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself.
